4 Eye Beauty Tricks

1. Yeast Oil Mask
Material: 20 grams yeast powder and vegetable oil
Method: Mix oil to the yeast until the mixture becomes sticky. Then apply on your eyes and leave for 20 minutes, clean with warm water. Pat gently on your eye with cold water. 1-2 times weekly.
Function: clean, wrinkle, anti-aging, anti-sagging.

2. Cucumber Eye Mask
All of us know cucumber is an ideal material for eye mask. It helps alleviate dark circle. Simply cut 2 thin cucumber slice and place on your eyes, leave for 10-15 minutes. My Sweet Sweet Dessert - Chinese Steamed Milk Custard

My mother makes this custard to us almost once a week. People say that, egg is very helpful in our skincare, may be that is the reason why the skin of my sister and I are still look well :p, just joking!!

Ingredients:
1 cup Beaten egg
1 cup water
1 cup fresh milk
4 oz rock sugar
Method:
1. Add fresh milk into beaten egg gradually.
2. Dissolve rock sugar in 1 cup of boiling water. Cool, gradually mix into the egg mixture and drain.
3. Divide mixture into 4 rice bowls, steam over gentle heat in a bamboo steamer for about 25 minutes or until set, serve hot or cold.
Tip:
If a metal steamer or wok is used, cover custard with aluminum foil to avoid water vapor. Cooking time is about 15-20 minutes.

Make 'Roast Chestnut' at HOME!

Chestnut is good to our kidney. We have many recipes in making cakes and cook with chicken and pork.
The most common and easy way is to roast the chestnut.
We usually buy the roast chestnut from the hawkers, and I would like to share one easy way to make the roast chestnut at home. We can simply roast the chestnut by using our microwave oven!
Method:
1. Boil the chestnuts for 4 minutes, drain them well.
2. Use ‘HIGH’ of the microwave oven to cook for 2 minutes (2 minutes is ideal for 1 lb of chestnuts.).
3. It is done and ready to serve!

Chinese dessert made of apple - Apple Toffee

Sweet dessert, can make us look YOUNGER!
Everybody knows that apple is good to our health, and it is very easy to buy apples in the market or fruit stores all the time. Therefore, you may try this Apple Toffee any time at home.
My friends are delighted by the crispy, sweet and sour taste!



Ingredients:
1 red apple
1 tbsp plain flour
2 tbsp sesame
4 tbsp plain flour
4 tbsp corn starch
1egg (beaten)
3 tbsp cold water
Syrup:
1 bowl sugar
2 tbsp oil
Dipper:
1 big bowl of ice water with some ice cubes
Method:
1 Mix seasonings well and let it rest for 30 minutes.
2 Skin apple; remove seeds and cut into big cubes, sprinkle with 1tbsp plain flour, dip apple in seasoning, take up.
3 Heat oil to deep fry apple until light brown, take out and drain oil.
4 Prepare syrup: heat 2tbsp oil, switch to medium heat, pour in sugar, keep on stirring until sugar turns into syrup. Switch to low heat, coat fried apple with syrup, then sprinkle sesame on the apple.
5 Move apple from the pan and dip in the ice water to harden syrup coating, drain and serve immediately.

Refreshing drink

We are always sitting at work for the whole day long. Most of us are lack of exercise, so we are easily tired during the daytime.

Kit always needs coffee to refresh but 2 cups a day is the maximum. Too much is harmful to us.
There is a refreshing drink recommended by an eating expert. I have tried before, it is not only delicious, but also best for us in the coming dry Winter.


Material:
1 piece egg yolk
1 piece foam Vitamin C
1 tablespoon honey
200cc warm water
1tsp rice vinegar
Method:
1. Break the egg york in a big cup
2. Melt the vitamin C tablets in water, then pour it in the glass withegg York and stir it well.
3. Add honey and vinegar, mix them and finish it as soon as possible.
Tips: rice vinegar in this recipe is performing sterilization. Take this refreshing drink one cup a day is enough. People in Taiwan called it 'refueling drinks'.

Remove Dark Circles

I do not want to talk about why we have the black eye, the most important thing we concern is how to improve and eliminate dark circles.

We can of course improve our black eye by makeup immediately, but for the long term benefit, we should know we have to maintain adequate sleep.
My grandma has a Chinese soup recipe helps to cure dark circles and has been used for a long time.
Material:
2 pcs Red Apple
1 piece Spotted Snakehead fish (easily find in market)
10 pieces red date
4 pieces ginger
and a little salt.
Method:
1. Wash fish, drain well and use tissue to make it dry
2. Peeled apple, remove stalks, cut into blocks
3. Soak the dates in hot water, and remove seeds
4. Heat 2 tbsp oil, saute ginger, fry the fish until golden yellow on both sides.
5. Boil water in another pot until boiled, then put all ingredients into the pot and boil for 15 minutes, turn to medium heat for another two hours, add salt before serve.

DIY Hand Cream

Here comes the winter recently, and my skin became dry, especially my hands and feet. Kit always needs to bring a hand cream in my handbag.
I want to introduce two DIY hand massage treatments to you.
1. Mix 1 teaspoon sugar and 1 teaspoon glycerin
Massage the mixture on our hands or feet like washing your hands for about 2 minutes, then wash with soap and water. Apply once a day, or at least once a week.
2. Mix 1 teaspoon glycerin and 5 teaspoon vinegar
Massage your hands with half the mixture for one minute. No need to wash your hands, it will be absorbed completely.
To get the best results, you may consider to wear gloves after the treatment before bed, and wash your hands next day.

Beauty your hair – NEW FORMULA

I am trying a new formula hair shampoo and conditioner recently, they make my hair become healthier and shiny. My hair is dry and hard. With this formula, all my friends thought that I have done ion straighten my hair.
Material:
Shampoo (use your usual shampoo is OK), egg white, egg yolk, vinegar and towel.
Method:
1. Squeeze a small amount of shampoo in the hand, add the egg white and mix thoroughly. Apply the mixture on your hair and wash your hair normally. Gently massage for a while.
2. Rinse hair. Mix the egg York and vinegar. Use this mixture as your hair conditioner, massage for a while.
3. Use a towel to wrap your hair for one hour. Then rinse with warm hair thoroughly.
This method is quite time-consuming, so I only do it once or twice a week. However, the result is very good and my hair becomes glossy and soft.

In addition, if you want to stop the hair fall off, vinegar also can be used.
Material and method:
Add 4.5oz vinegar in 7oz hot water
Use this hot water to wash your hair, once a day.
This method is relatively simple, and helps in stopping hair loss.

In my previous blog message, I have introduced a fruit juice that helps us to lose weight. And now again, a cup of drink for Beauty!
This drink was introduced by an auntie having creamy white and fine skin and looks like 30-year-old.

She told me this beauty drink is most suitable for those girls who are having dry and easily built wrinkle skin.
Material:
A small bottle of iced beer, an ice-cream ball, a glass comes out from the freezer.
Method:
Pour the iced beer into the iced glass, then put the ice-cream ball on top of the beer. In order to get the best result, finish it as soon as possible when it is cool.
Tips:
This drink contains the essential material of synthetic hormone. It is very important in improving our figures, our skin, hair and nail!

Milk Skin Care, NEW Mask!

We use milk on skin care is very common. We usually use milk to clean our faces or take a milk bath.

I met my grandmother’s friend in Japan a year ago. Her skin was incredibly good, almost no wrinkles.
I asked her immediately what the secret was?
Her method is so simple:
Boil a bottle of milk. When the milk became cool, a floating film will be formed. Pick up the floating film gently and use it as your milk mask. Wait for few minutes, rinse it with clean water when the mask became dried.
Remember, don’t waste the milk.

Delicious juice to lose weight!

We all know that fresh fruit contains lots of nutrients and is important to us. We will normally prepare fruit juice according to our own favorite fruits. Mix fruits and vegetables into vegetable juices.
My friend told me that many North Americans love to make this fruit juice, it helps us to clean our digestive system. So, it is the athlete's favorite!

She told me this juice taste very good, why not try?
Ingredients:
1/2 pc      Aapple
6 oz         Fresh Chinese yam
1 / 2 tbsp  Honey
6 oz          Cold water
Method:
1. Peel the yam and cut into small cubes.
2. Apple peeled and seeded, cut into small cubes.
3. Put all ingredients into a juice machine to extract juice.
Tips:
Take a cup daily, see whether you will lose weight and look good two weeks later.

A simple Chinese Soup, benefits in loss weight and skin care

We all know that we should have healthy diet, eat less fried foods. Fried foods produce oxidation, it causes us rapidly aging.
I got a soup recipe from my auntie, the ingredients are very simple. It provides rich in calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium, vitamin A and C. These are important elements of beauty. OK, let us prepare to cook.


Ingredients:
2 oz Chinese dry mushroom
1.5 lbs fresh spinach
Some ginger slice, water, salt and sugar
Method:
1. Wash mushroom and soak in water for 2-3 hours until become soft, cut the feet, cut in pieces.
2. Cut spinach into 4-5 inches section
3. Heat 1-2 teaspoon oil, sauté ginger slice, add mushrooms and water to boil, simmer for another 15 minutes.
4. Add spinach until cooked
5. Add salt and sugar and taste
Tips:
Mushrooms should be washed several times before soaking. If we can use the mushroom soaking water in cooking the soup, you can get the maximum benefit from mushroom.
Also, roots of spinach contain lots of nutrients, so keep them in the soup.
